Introducing...The World Series of Football

This summer four teams will participate in a friendly tournament at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.

Chelsea, UNAM Tigres, Galaxy, and Suwon Bluewings from South Korea's K-League will contest each other between July 17 to July 21st.

By the way, as MLS Notebook was quickly compiling this story, we noticed this on the LA Galaxy website. Click here and scroll down to see the HerbaLife ad on the left side.
"Official Nutrition Sponsor of the L.A. Galaxy" it reads.

Not sure if there is any correlation with the L.A. Galaxy jersey sponsor. Updates to come.

The original idea was set last year by AEG and Chelsea's president to help grow soccer in the U.S but the idea was announced on thurs. or fri.
But what a great name. It will definitely get people/press involved.

HerbaLife has been a sponsor of the Galaxy for somewhere in the vicinity of 6 years. Back when their games were shown on KCAL HerbaLife became one tof the "brought to you commercial by..." sponsors and have been a sponsor since.

The Shirt sponsorship has nothing to do with that ad.

Meant to say "brought to you commercial-free by..."
